Do Not Be Swayed By The Glamorous Lifestyle Of Celebrities – Shirley Frimpong-Manso Advises

Ghanaian movie producer and director, Shirley Frimpong-Manso has advised the youth of the country not be swayed by the fake lifestyles of some celebrities on social media.

According to her the showbiz industry is not glamorous as it is being portrayed out there.

“No, it’s not…if you stay on social media too long, you will properly kill yourself. It is not that glamorous. I guess showbiz means that you properly need to make a showy,” she told Joy FM’s Lexis Bill in an interview.

“it is not as glamorous as it seems so a lot of you out there sitting around and watching all these videos on social media with people standing by some cars and driving these flashy cars; it is not that glamorous trust me.”

“Some of them [flashy things] have not been paid for,” she stressed.

The movie producer strongly believes that most of the celebrities only look for likes and more followers with the hope that, “more followers means more money.”

Shirley believes “If people knew the real truth” they won’t be swayed by what they see out there.

The Founder and CEO of Sparrow Productions revealed that young girls are those who mostly fall prey to these fake lifestyles being portrayed by some of these entertainment personalities.
