The maiden edition of Brong Ahafo Music Awards is set to be launched on November 2017, News Hunter Magazine can confirm.
For the first time in the history of the region, the scheme will honor and celebrate hard working musicians in the region for their immense contributions.
Ahead of the official launch, organizers have disclosed preparations are far advanced.
“Generally we are honoring and celebrating talents in the Brong Ahafo Region. We are about 70% advanced with preparations. We will be having the launch of the whole festival in November. Nominations will be open in the first quarter of next year, and the B/A Music Awards tour will also follow. We will tour around the region.
We are the main organizers but all stakeholders can also come on board,” Director of Operations for J Black Code Events, Joshua Akongo Anemi told the News Hunter Magazine.
