Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, widely known as DKB, has tackled Prince David Osei over his post about the appreciation of the cedi.

The actor seemed happy about the appreciation of the cedi in an earlier post.

He said the economy is even getting back on track.

With this development, Prince declared that he will no longer mobilize the youth to demonstrate against the government—as he threatened some time ago.

He tweeted: “Hallelujah the Cedi is appreciating remarkably. 9.56ghc to a 1$.. No more demonstrations 😀😀 remember I gave an ultimatum for December!! The economy is gradually getting back on track!! Now we need to see the effect in our daily lives, goods and services.. God bless 🇬🇭❤️.”

Replying to his post, DKB argued that the appreciation of the cedi is useless until it correlates with a reduction in food and fuel prices.

DKB reacted to the post made by Prince David Osei: “A reducing exchange rate with no correlating reduction on food prices and fuel prices is useless.”
