Famous Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan, has signed the book of condolence for Queen Elizabeth II.

He signed the book of condolence at the British High Commission in Accra.

The British High Commissioner, Harriet Thompson, was present when Gyan signed the book.

He sent his deepest condolence to the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.

The former Black Stars captain tweeted: “On behalf of my family, the football family, my fans, I signed the book of condolence for the demise of the Great Queen. Wishing the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth my deepest condolence, May the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Rest In Perfect Peace! Amen. @ukinghana.”

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022.
