Promising Ghanaian radio presenter, Grandmaster Murphy has earned two nominations at the maiden edition of Ashanti Region Music Awards (ARMA).
Murphy, who was with Todays Radio in Ejura was nominated in the Radio/Tv Entertainment Show Host and Radio/Tv Entertainment Show of the Year categories following the release of nominees list.
According to the organizers, 3D Events Management, the award scheme seeks to acknowledge, reward and support hardworking as well as deserving musicians and other major industry players from the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The event is being organized in collaboration with the regional branch of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
They explained that it cut across all genre of music produced in the region with a few from the other regions in the Non-Ashanti song of the year and Non-Ashanti Artiste of the year categories.
Voting into the 2020 Ashanti Music Awards (ARMA) will commence on October 19, 2020.
