American reality television star Kim Kardashian
and Beyoncé are reportedly not on good
terms.
Although Jay Z and Kanye West are close
friends, their wives do not appear to share the
same chemistry.
Beyoncé and Jay Z were noticeably absent
from Kardashian and West’s wedding in
Florence, Italy on 24 May, following rumours
the groom had asked Jay-Z to be his best man.
According to a print report from the 30 June
edition of In Touch Weekly magazine, Beyoncé
and the 33-year-old are allegedly “at war”
following her decision to opt out from the
Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s lavish
nuptials.
“Kim and Kanye fully expected [Beyoncé and
Jay Z] to come to the wedding,” a source close
to the newlyweds told the magazine.
The couple felt both “embarrassed” and
“angry” when Beyoncé and Jay Z skipped their
big day, and went to the Hamptons instead.
“Kim and Kanye are beyond pissed. Now it’s a
full on feud,” a insider said.
However, it was previously reported that the
On The Run performers decided to skip the
lavish bash as Kardashian’s best friend
designer Rachel Roy was also invited.
Last month, during the Met Gala afterparty at
New York City’s Standard Hotel, Jay Z’s
closeness with Roy provoked his sister-in-law,
Solange Knowles, to fly into a rage. This
apparently led Solange physically attacking Jay
Z in an elevator at the hotel.
“They weren’t sure about all of the media
attention and it possibly being filmed for the
show [KUWTK], but after the fight with Rachel
at the Met, they decided to lay low,” a source
told Hollywood Life.
“Bey and Jay are working on their marriage,”
the source added.
