Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy Fracas At VGMA: Charterhouse Deserves A Portion Of The Blame, Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku Writes

If Charterhouse is applying sanctions, what words do they have for those who were traumatized at the night? And it shouldn’t be only just words. At least they should buy eggs for them to eat…Lol

What measures are they putting in place that this nefarious incident does not occur again?

They should accept that there was a security breach…and if they will admit to that, they should also be cautioned accordingly.

Shockingly, many event organizers do invest much into security when organizing events. Some do not even invest in that area at all.

It appears there was no Emergency Management Plan (EMP) or Emergency Response Plan put in place at the night.

There are certain things we do not pay much attention to in this country.

I am thinking about how many event houses in Ghana have insurance policies for patrons when the unexpected happens.
First aid apparatus must be available but again many organizers will not even think about that.

If Ghana’s constitution guarantees the safety and security for citizens, then Charterhouse must be questioned on how this was safeguarded. They cannot just apply sanctions and be left off any hook without answering some questions.

I am wondering whether the patrons who were traumatized following the incident can sue them for what they went through.

The harm has already been caused; we cannot blame Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy alone. Charterhouse deserves a portion of it.

I am hoping that the punishment to the parties involved will serve as a deterrent to others.

Ghana will work again if the laws are applied without fear or favour.
