Celebrated former Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, has rained praises on agile midfielder Mohammed Kudus following his outstanding performance in the match against Central African Republic.
The Black Stars qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after securing victory over their opponents on Thursday, September 7, at the Baba Yaara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
A remarkable free kick delivered by Mohammed Kudus landed the ball in the empty net and saw fortunes reverse for the Black Stars who were down by a goal.
“I loved how Kudus played. He was more composed and realized the balls at the right time. For me, he is the Star man in this Black Stars team at the moment. More room for improvement”, Asamoah Gyan wrote on Twitter (X).
The game ended 2-1 against the Central African Republic with Ghana booking their spot in the 2023 AFCON.
