Ghanaian entertainment company, Zylofon Media has advised the public and event organizers not to use their artists with their consent.
The company said in a press statement that they will be forced to take legal action against any individual or company who will not adhere to this directive.
“Zylofon Media Co. limited have the sole right to the use of artiste’s name, voice, likeness, sound and similar characteristics for the purpose of advertising, promotions, selling and otherwise merchandising discs, tapes and other audio and video recordings produced from master products by artiste’s under contractual relations,” part of the statement signed by the Head of Communications at Zylofon Media, Samuel Atuobi Baah popularly called Sammy Flex read.
