The Chief Executive Officer of the News Hunter Magazine, Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku has called on the manager of the late Ebony Reigns, Ricky Osei Agyeman, known in showbiz as Bullet to seek counselling from a specialist.

Speaking on Suncity Radio in Sunyani, he said that Bullet, as close as he was to the late Ebony had gone through a lot upon the demise of the Ghanaian star.

He mentioned that it was necessary Bullet received aid from an expert in the form of counselling to put his psychological and emotional well-being at rest.

The outspoken journalist registered his dissatisfaction with the typical Ghanaian attitude of condemning people who lose their close ones just as in Bullet’s case where he was heavily criticized by a vast section of Ghanaians after Ebony passed on.

“When incidents like these happen in Ghana, most people jump to conclusions and start pointing accusing fingers. All the same, I’ll plead with the young man to get himself a Counsellor or a psychologist to help him through this period. That is very important,” he said.

KOK further noted that in the outside world – citing Hollywood – there were many and different avenues and specialists like divorce attorneys, counsellors who took distressed people through procedures to help them deal with their problems which he lamented was almost nonexistent in this country.

Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku proceeded to touch on the issue of the tribute concert supposed to be organized in memory of the late Ebony which Bullet revealed that some artists were demanding money before they perform.
He referred to this as hypocritical of those artists.

“Some musicians never cease to use the least opportunity they get to make money. Those who are alleged to be demanding for money before they perform at the tribute concert should bow their heads in shame,” he said

He finally encouraged Bullet to continue with his works and asked all Ghanaians to refrain from the persistent slams.
