Black Queens Reach Finals Of WAFU Tournament After Beating Nigeria

The Black Queens of Ghana has reached finals of the ongoing WAFU Zone B Women’s Tournament in Cote D’Ivoire.
The Black Queens defeated their Nigerian counterparts in a 5-4 penalty shootout. 
On the 18th minute mark, Faustina Ampah cancelled Nigeria’s lead, which was scored by Alice Ogebe in the 8th minute.
Though Grace Asantewaa squandered her kick, Portia Boakye, Priscilla Okyere, Gladys Amfobea, Ellen Coleman and Alice Kusi successfully converted their kicks to book a ticket for Ghana at the finals of the competition.
In the final encounter, the Black Queens of Ghana will play against Cote D’Ivoire who defeated Mali by two goals to zero.
