“The National Gospel Music Awards cuts across every angle,
region, municipality, district, assembly and everywhere in Ghana. The scheme is
for everybody who has contributed to the gospel industry in Ghana. It is also
not for only already good gospel artistes…you can pick a form even if you have
one track,” he stated.
The Event Coordinator added: “Every gospel artistes who was present
at the launch picked their forms. They well very happy and embraced the
initiative. Works can be submitted from now till August 23. We are looking at
works from 2013 to 2017.
“It is a standard that is covering the whole Ghana and we
are competing with anyone.”

The maiden edition of the awards is expected to come off in October
