Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Jupita, has advised his fellow musicians not to let controversial stuff take the best from them.
Speaking in an interview with Ayisha Bayipa on SVTV Africa’s Chat Show, Jupita said their listeners will listen to anything they churn out so it shouldn’t be always negative.
‘’Everybody thinks, doing controversial content is what will make people listen to them, meanwhile, it is you that is feeding the listeners and also decide what they should listen.
“We can do the controversial stuff but it shouldn’t take the best from us,’’ he advised.
Jupita added: ‘’We have an industry that is under construction so we have to stop the too much negative contents and focus on how we can build it to the next level.”
