A peace street carnival organized by the Brong Ahafo branch
of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) was not up to scratch.

News Hunter Magazine’s sources say the show was a total flop
as it was attended by the 70% of truck pushers-and mosquitoes who were there to
disturb the few participants.

Kofi Kinaata, Tictac, Slim Buster, Nero X and some few
supporting artists from the region could not pull the crowd to make the event a
success.
We gathered that the carnival was boring because the billed artists
were asked to perform with a live band.
The organizers seem unprepared and much was not done to
ensure the success of an event which its target audience is the youth.
The organizers have just wasted bucks of cedis to organizer such
an idled event.
Some residents of Sunyani told the News Hunter Magazine that
they were not aware the B/A MUSIGA were coming up with such an event.
“I did not hear about it…indeed the publicity was low,” a
resident told us.
“I realized that something was going on when the road was
blocked. I think they should do better next time,” another resident stated.

Before the event day, some entertainment pundits in the
region questioned why the organizers did not use most of the musicians in the
region.
