Sunawood Movie Production Completes First Audition In Sunyani

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Sunawood Movie Production, a new movie production house in
the Brong Ahafo region has ended their first auditioning in Sunyani.

The auditioning came off at the Eusbett Conference Center
last Saturday and was patronized by a host of dignitaries, actors and actresses
from the Ghana movie industry.
According to the CEO Dr Rosevelt Eric Adom (PHD) who doubles
as the Executive Director of the house, the movie industry is being flooded
with all kinds of movies apart from life changing movies and he thinks there is
the need for Sunawood to bring a clean and variety into the movie industry.
Talking about the industry, he spoke about how difficult it
is to finance a movie in this country and the spiritual side of producing a
movie is something that someone cannot downplay.
Dr. Adom said, Sunawood has what it takes to bring out the
best of movie that will make impact and be accepted by the system. He continued
that Sunawood has come  to stay and urged
the public who has interest in acting in the region to rely on them since they
are ready to nurture talents and also bring out the ‘eagle’ in them.
“We have chosen some of the best actors and actresses for
the production and we have put in strategies to market the movie when it’s
finally out. My production house and my movies will set the pace for others to
come out with similar movies for Ghanaians.”
He was optimistic that Sunawood is poised to outwit their
counterparts in the industry.
First movie produced by the movie house is set to hit the
market by the end of July this year.
News Hunter Magazine has gathered that the movie will be
premiered at Silver bird cinema, Kumasi, Techiman and other places.
