Rev. Francis Agyapong

Reverend Francis Agyapong, the Head Pastor of the Sonlife City Church in Sunyani is worrying that basic necessities for quality healthcare provision is lacking at the various public health institutions in the country.

He is unhappy that instead of successive governments to channel resources into the provision of modern medical devices and equipment to refurbish these health facilities, they lived ostentatious lifestyle, riding in classic and Porsh Vehicles.

“WhenYou go to our hospitals, you have to even buy your own gauze…everybody will die one day, but foolish death isn’t suppose to happen to our people,” he said.

Pastor Agyapong was speaking at a ceremony in honour of Dr. Esinam Nyarko, a medical practitioner at the Regional Hospital, for her services to society.

He emphasized that corrupt politicians and public officials would not escape God’s judgement and condemnation here and here after, if they sit unconcern for citizens to die needless deaths as a result of sicknesses which could be easily treated.
