After five months of calling it quits with Sunyani-based Storm FM, Nana Adjei Boateng popularly known as DJ Murphy Lee has return to his former station—following a magnificent delivery at Metro FM in Sunyani.

Murphy Lee who was the host of Metro FM’s Mid Morning and Entertainment Extra Show will now take over Storm FM’s late evening drive from Mondays to Fridays—7pm – 10pm each day. As he carries the Entertainment Extra Show along wherever he is, the well-branded Entertainment Extra Show would be aired every Saturday from 3pm to 6pm on Storm FM with DJ Murphy Lee.

DJ Murphy Lee who has carved a niche for himself in the showbiz industry is the CEO of IGWT Entertainment and also the manager of veteran highlife musician, Frank Mensah Pozo, Ramz Nic, Black Boi and Stinny Leo.

Speaking to the News Hunter Magazine after the news broke that he is making u-turn to his former station; Murphy Lee asserted that he had an unfinished business at Storm FM—and thought it wise that this is the right time for him to return and accomplish that unfinished work.

According to him, he had a healthy relationship with them after he parted ways with them some months ago.

“Oh we were still communicating. I use to pay them visits. No body wronged me when I was there, I left just to go and broaden my scope in presenting. We had a very good relationship as though I were still an employee there….it must be put on record that my exit was not as a result of any indifferences but as a matter of exploring the industry

“All over the world, there’s no place like home (home sweet home). I couldn’t resist the offer and to add to that I have a very healthy and business relationship with the top management.”

“The feeling is mutual…..most especially exciting for my many listeners whose reach was cut of during my departure. It is often said that the people you meet upon ascension are same people you meet descending …so we are still going to have great relationship as ever…..the are a part of the family I find my self in life,” he said.

He disclosed that his exit from Metro FM saddens his heart—but he has no option than to keep things cool—and forge ahead.

“Though it saddens my heart vehemently for leaving Metro because of the wonderful reception they gave me during my five months stay, I feel so very great that, I have come back to complete from where I left. Oh Metro fm still stands as one of my favorite stations. No body treated me badly when I was there,I will still go to them anytime I get the opportunity,” Murphy Lee averred.

He believes that his comeback to Storm FM would be a huge success for the station—as he is ready to give out his best as always.

“Look, the future is extremely bright. Now I can confidently say that, I’m now prepared to win laurels with storm Fm. Now the sky wouldn’t be just the limit. The future is promising…the future is big….and extra will be even biggest,” he posited.
