Young Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif, has expressed optimism ahead of the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA 24).
He was hoping to be victorious in the upcoming VGMA.
Sherif, who got nine nominations, stated in a recent interview with NYDJ-which Newshuntermag.com has come across that with his ‘Villain I Never Was’ album, victory will surely be his.
He was optimistic about winning all the categories he was nominated in.
“What was I even nominated in? If the Vilian I Never Was is nominated then we will take [win] it and Album of the Year.
Everything they put us in, we will take it,” Black Sherif stated.
No matter what will happen, Sherif said he will give thanks to Allah.
“If they give me, Alhamdullilah, if they don’t give me, Alhamdullilah,” the Kwaku The Traveller composer further stated.
The nine nominations for Blacko include Artiste of the Year and Album of the Year.
