A ‘Spiritual Man’ based at Techiman in the Brong Ahafo
Region has revealed how three musicians wanted to sink Kooko’s music career.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the News Hunter
Magazine, Nana Mosi Bansere disclosed that three (3) musicians contracted him
to ruin the shine of the Bono rapper-Kooko, known in private life as Kwame Nana
Gyabaah.
He emphasized that one of the guys who contacted him has a
song with Kooko.
“The guys have called me to apologize after the story was
shared on social media. They are willing to apologize to Kooko publicly. I will
forgive them if they have shown remorse. It is true that they contracted me but
I will forgive them…I am not waiting for them to say anything to the general
public before I forgive them,” he said.
When asked whether ‘Juju’ works in the entertainment
industry in Ghana, Nana Mosi Bansere answered: “Even in farming it works not to
talk about music and other things. Yes ‘Juju’ does work in the industry. Whatever
you will do on this earth is a glory. Nobody will hear about you if you do not have
a glory…despite having money or the level of sense that you have. “
“Some people can hide your glory…and when it happens like
that, you need a spiritual father who can restore it back. If it does not
happen like that you will suffer. Kooko has collaborated with some popularly
artists but why is it that he is not sailing through. Though, he is known but
not all that popular because they sold his glory. We are now restoring it back,”
the ‘Spiritual Man’ stated.
He advised people who use ‘Juju’ to destroy the life of
others.
“It won’t end well for you if you use juju to destroy
others. In the end, you will lie and rot in the room if you do that,” he
warned.
Nana Mosi Bansere who has seen the seriousness that Kooko
approaches his work with further stated that he will support him throughout his
lifetime.
According to him, a total sum of GHC 500,000 will be
released annually to help the music career of the rapper who propagates through
the Bono dialect.
The three-year record signing deal was held at the Eusbett
hotel in Sunyani on Friday.
News Hunter Magazine has gathered that the deal included a
car—and it is the first time in the history of the Brong Ahafo Region that a press
conference is being organized to brief the media on the signing of an artist.
The colorful ceremony was attended by most media personnel
in the Brong Ahafo Region including, Ghana’s no.1 turntablist, DJ Kaxtro of
Kumasi-based Ultimate  FM and DJ Shatar
of Suncity Radio in Sunyani.
We can confirm that Owusu-Ansah Baafi (DJ Kastiva) of
Kapital Radio in Kumasi has been appointed as the manager for the project.
