Did you know that Kofi Kinaata was a footballer? The Ghanaian musician opened up about this in a recent interview.
He revealed why he ditched football for music when speaking on Citi TV’s “The Chat”.
According to him, getting money to purchase a pair of boots was a challenge.
However, venturing into music does not require that one must buy expensive equipment before starting.
“Money for boots was the main problem…but with music, you don’t need to buy a microphone before you can sing. You just sing then you pass it on to the owner,” he disclosed.
Kofi Kinaata is preparing to release his ‘Kofi OO Kofi’ EP on May 3, 2024.
“I’m here because of the fans and the fans are the ones pestering me to release an EP or album.
Since it’s a team now and they’re on my neck to release something, I decided to release it for them to stream,” he stated.
Kofi Kinaata released a new song ‘Efiekuma Broken Heart’ a few days ago.
