Nana Quame Calls For Peaceful Elections

Ghanaian highlife musician, Henry De-Mensah popularly known as Nana Quame has called on Ghanaians to come together and pray for peaceful elections.

Nana Quame indicated that that this the time that Ghanaians needs to show to love to one another.


“We are in election year so we should all come together as one, let’s show love to one another and pray for peaceful election,” he said in an interview with DJ Murphy Lee on Storm Fm Entertainment Extra.

Nana Quame revealed that he mostly sing about love because it’s the beginning and the end of everything.

He added that love is valuable that is why God gave his only son to die for us.

Nana Quame also hinted about an upcoming ‘Thank You Tour’ that he is planning to embark in the Brong Ahafo Region.

“Brong Ahafo is my home…and I’m planning to have a memorable show in the region to show gratitude to how the people have supported my musical career. The people deserve a thank you tour…and I’m planning towards that.”

When asked to rate the current crop of Ghanaian Television and the old series, Nana Quame said: “There has been a huge difference in TV series production in Ghana. The old TV series was focused on educating the public but we can now see a transformation because of the availability of internet and other things. Producers now thing about the market because sponsors think about how they will get back their money that they invested into such product…so they  do it to suit the situation or the environment that you’re in at the present moment.”

Nana Quame who recently release ‘Akye’ with Samini and ‘No Parking’ with KK Fosu is out with a new track titled ‘Me Do’.

He called on all his fans to vote for Storm Fm Entertainment Extra in the forth-coming Forklex Awards by texting PA Entertainment Extra to short code 1446.
