The CEO of Media For Development Foundation (MEDEF), Mr. Emmanuel O. Appiah in a release to the News Hunter Magazine articulated that the issue of legalizing safe abortion in the country is a critical issue which needs not to look down upon—but must be tackle looking at it from a perspective angle whereby women health will be considered.

He stated that the organization support the call by Global Media Foundation about the legalization of safe abortion in the country.

According to the CEO MEDEF support the call because a lot of our dear women and teenagers are dying from unsafe abortion so it would be necessary for government and parliament to rethink about our future leaders and legalize it.

He enunciated that, “reports available indicates that a lot of woman and teenagers in the Brong Ahafo Region uses wee to prevent and abort pregnancy which is not good because it will have a negative impact in their lives and our society.”

“We should think about the future of this women and girls,” he declared.
