Ghanaian artiste, Fameye, has made a debatable statement about the Grammy Awards.
In a latest interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM monitored by Newshuntermag.com, he argued that the Ghana Music Awards is bigger than the Grammy Awards.
When growing up, the ‘Notin I Get’ singer admitted that he made a mistake in placing much value on the Grammy Awards against the Ghana Music Awards.
The artiste, who sang about his interest in winning a Grammy award, said he should have said Ghana Music Awards.
He talked about the need for Ghanaians to hype their own.
Fameye was worried about how Ghanaians love hyping foreign things.
Nonetheless, the Ghanaian artiste said he would be happy to win a Grammy Award if it happens.
